We treat your data the way we treat our ingredients — with respect. This document is the long-form version of that promise.
When you place an order or use the Nourivo website we collect the information we need to actually make the delivery happen — name, address, phone number, email and any dietary notes you share with us.
We also keep a record of your orders, delivery preferences and the feedback you send. Payment details are handled by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner; we don't see or store full card numbers on our servers.
Our site uses cookies to remember your preferences. You can switch them off in your browser, but a few small things may stop working if you do.
The main use is the obvious one — preparing, scheduling and delivering your meals. We'll get in touch by phone or email to confirm orders, sort out delivery windows, and answer questions.
If you've opted in, we'll occasionally email new menu reveals or seasonal offers. There's an unsubscribe link in every email, and it works.
Your dietary notes help the kitchen plan around you. Aggregated order patterns help us decide which dishes graduate to the permanent menu and which quietly retire.
We don't sell your data. Full stop. We share it only when we have to in order to deliver the service — couriers see your address, payment processors see what's needed to settle, customer-service tools see contact details.
Every partner with access is contractually bound by UK GDPR and our own data-processing terms. They use the data for the job at hand and nothing else.
Industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, two-factor authentication on every staff account, and a quarterly external review. No system is perfect — but we treat customer data like it could be ours.
If we ever discover a breach affecting you, we'll notify you within 72 hours, as required by law.
Under UK data-protection law you can ask to see what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, request deletion, or object to certain uses. Some exceptions apply — accounting and tax records, mostly.

Essential cookies keep the site working — these can't be turned off, they're just the lights staying on. Analytics cookies help us see which pages people actually use; marketing cookies let us show relevant offers off-site.
You're in charge of the optional ones, either through the banner at the bottom of every page or your browser settings.
Order records: seven years, for tax and accounting. Marketing preferences: until you ask us to delete them. Cookie data: per the retention windows declared in our cookie tool.
When the data is no longer needed, we anonymise or destroy it.
